Delivery

How quickly do you despatch my order?

We despatch your order as quickly as possible, to ensure you get your hands on that lovely fabric ASAP. Please bear in mind your fabric takes time to prepare, it is ironed and neatly packaged for you, we take time to ensure your delivery is correct.

Despatch is normally within a maximum of 2 working days. If you have a rush order, we're more than happy to help with emergencies (and let's face it, fabric is an emergency!). Please get in touch.

You will receive a confirmation of despatch email as soon as we make the trip to the Post Office. Please check your ‘junk mail’ folder in case the email is in there.

 

What method do you use?

We use Royal Mail recorded services on most orders. Our standard option is second class and takes 2 - 5 working days to reach its destination. You have the option of upgrading to first class. For large and heavy orders, we tend to use a courier service.

The website is set up to weigh the fabric in your cart and then calculate postage options. You can also benefit from free UK postage on orders over £50. This free option is via a second class postage service.

 

I have a super urgent order, can I use Next Day Delivery?

Absolutely, the delivery options at the checkout stage offer Next Day Delivery (UK only) as an option. However, we would ask you to get in touch with us before selecting this option. We need to advise if same day despatch is an option. This depends on our commitments to other orders for that day, although we will do our utmost to meet your request.

 

I haven't received my order, help!

We use trackable services so we will be able to let you know if your order is still with Royal Mail, or if a card has been left for you because it is waiting at your local Sorting Office.

 

I need my fabric sent to a BFPO address...

No problem, please clearly state your address when you provide your shipping details at the checkout stage, ensuring your address is correctly formatted for the British Forces Post Office service.

 

I'm in Europe, what delivery options do you offer?

Your fabric will be weighed at the checkout stage and a postage quote offered to you. This is via airmail and takes approximately 5 to 10 working days to reach you, depending on where you are in Europe. We obtain proof of postage for all orders, but tracking European orders is extremely expensive so we don't offer tracking.  If you would prefer we despatched your order via a tracked service, please contact us to discuss.

On occasion we may contact you after you have placed your order if it is particularly heavy, to advise the correct postage charge. If you have a large order to place, please drop us a line beforehand in case the weight requires a specialist courier.

You may be required to pay the customs/taxes/handling fees your country charges when your parcel goes through Customs.

 

I'm outside Europe, can I still order?

The website calculates postage to most European countries, as well as North America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
